During one of their weekly conversations, Abdul asked Meghan about Jesus. He told Meghan he had lots of questions and had been secretly reading a Bible.

Meghan offered to meet with Abdul regularly to discuss his questions about Jesus. Meghan remarks, "I was hoping I could find him a Bible with both Arabic and English side-by-side so that he could practice his English, but also read about Jesus in his own language, so when I got the parallel Bible I was so excited."

The Mary Hill Davis Offering® for Texas Missions provides parallel language Bibles through the Heart Language Ministry Funds allocation. Meghan and Abdul met together throughout the semester. Meghan shares, "Abdul has yet to believe in Jesus. However, I am confident that he understands the Gospel now. I am praying that Jesus will reveal himself through His Word.
