What does it mean to be a Christ follower?

Are you a Christ follower because you go to church?  Attend Sunday School?  Were baptized?  For these Tarrant Baptists below it was about more than that.  It was about putting their faith in Jesus Christ and then putting that faith into action.  James 2:14-16 says, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:14-16 NIV).  

How are you and your church impacting your community?  How are you putting your faith into action?  How are you getting past the idea that we GO to church to the truth that we ARE the church?
